Imari & Dilby
Another success story.....
"When I adopted Dilby, he had a pretty good friendship with one of my cats, PyeWhackett. Sadly, PyeWhackett had cancer and I didn't know it...I think that is why Dilby treated him differently and was so good with him. My boy died on May 2nd, and that threw Dilby into a funk. For a week after, he would go outside and just sit by Pye's grave and whine.
I knew that I would eventually get another dog, so Chris and I talked about it, and Dilby's need for a new friend. I went back to PetFinders and found Imari. Dilby is such an awesome boy that I wanted another Cattle Dog. I found Imari, a 7 month-old female Blue-Spotted Aussie Cattle Dog/ Blue Healer/ Beagle mix. I took Dilby out to Battle Creek to meet her. She and her sister were being fostered by a nice couple from the SPCA, and her sister was adopted out the day before. Imari had never been without her sister, and she wasn't handling it well. The moment she and Dilby saw each other, they haven't left each other's sides! It was love at first site and Imari came home with us this past Sunday. I wanted to send you a pic of Dilby and Imari to show you how happy my boy is!

TATUM
My name is Zachary Odette. My mom and I adopted Tatum (known as Nikita at the time) back in October of 2005. She has been the perfect dog these past 3 years. In fact, Tatum just recently passed the CGC (Canine Good Citizen Test) -- proof that she truly is a "good dog"!
GAGE
JUNO
Dear Last Chance Rescue,
It has been a little over a year since I adopted my dog from you. He was a Siberian Husky named Juno. He was found running alongside the highway by a police officer. I have never had a dog before and was nervous about the dog and adjusting to the respons-ibility. After a few chewed up furniture pieces and rugs...we're doing just great! Juno is a wonderful dog and has matured so much over the past year. He has even bonded well with my fiance. We have had so much fun the past year and are looking forward to years to come. Thank you so much for all of the hard work that you do!

WALLY
"Attached are a few pics of our new baby Wally (formerly Fizz)- we love him and he is such a good puppy! The vet said it is apparent he was VERY well cared for at Last Chance Rescue. No problems- he is very healthy and wherever we go everyone comments not only on how cute he is, but how very well mannered he is. He can already sit with almost no prompting and is the best thing that has come into our lives. We named him Wally because he was playing in front of the Airstream trailer outside and we were shouting out potential names he stopped and sat and looked at us when we called out "Wally". Wally is the first name of Airstream founder Wally Byam. Anyhow, just wanted to say thank you for helping us find him. If there is anything I can do to help promote your efforts to find good homes for your animals, just let me know!!
"Hello there! We adopted Tinkerbell (on left) from you in April and she is a wonderful dog. We just wanted to send you a picture of how big she got and tell you thank you for expanding our family.
Thank you,
The Garlands"
