8-2-08: 1st annual "PETWASH" from 11am - 3pm at Arrowwood Nursery

5178 Corunna Rd., Flint Twp (just west of Linden Rd.)

- $10 donation for bath & towel dry of pet up to 90 lbs., $20 donation for pet over 90 lbs.

- $5 for digital photo of your nice clean pet! Photo will be mailed or can be picked up after Fri. Aug. 8th

- Raffling off 4 webkins (2 dogs, 2 cats) $2 per ticket or 3 for $5! Drawing held on Sept. 1st - need not be present to win.

8-9-08: Third annual "PETFEST" will be held on the grounds of Genesys Hospital. This is sponsored by the Flint Area Animal Coalition and there will be several animal groups there with dogs and cats to adopt.

September 27-28 Meet Your Best Friend at the Zoo: Join us the weekend of September 27-28 at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak to have some fun in the sun and find your new furry friend! We and many other shelters will be there from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Photo Day at Petco, Miller Rd., has been postponed until further notice. Keep checking to see when you can get your pet’s digital photo taken for $5. Photos printed on the spot for you! All donations go to the rescue.

2nd Annual Volunteer/Awards Banquet at Red Ink Art Studio (next to Farmer's Market in Flint) where we will recognize our volunteers and open the award nominations to the public. More info. to come.
